We’re taking the great American summer picnic and giving it a little MTL magic—an afternoon of chef-prepared picnic fare, live music, cold drinks, and plenty of time to stretch out on the lawn and stay awhile.
Expect the flavors you remember from summer picnics, thoughtfully reimagined by our kitchen and served the way summer food should be: outside, with good music playing and nowhere else you need to be.
And we’ll have your seat waiting.
YOUR MTL PICNIC BLANKET
Every room receives an MTL picnic blanket of its own.
Spread it out on the Front Lawn for Saturday’s picnic, then roll it up and take it home with you—a little piece of summer on the mountain to keep.
S’MORES AFTER DARK
When the music winds down and the sun disappears behind the mountain, there’s no need to call it a night.
We’ll bring out the s’mores, light the fire pits, and let summer do the rest.
No schedule. No reservations. Just one more reason to stay outside a little longer.
SUNDAY | THE FOURTH OF JULY
Wake up slowly. Have breakfast. Then make the Fourth your own.
Spend the day at the Lodge, explore Dahlonega and North Georgia wine country, or head into town for the holiday festivities.
We’ll give you the celebration on Saturday.
