This guide is designed to share everything you need for a seamless, unforgettable stay — from the moment you arrive to your last sweet memory. More than a place to rest, The Lodge is where mountain views, thoughtful touches, and meaningful moments come together to create an experience you’ll carry with you long after you leave.
Arrival & Departure
Arriving at the Lodge is the start of your retreat — we’ll have everything ready for you by 3:00 PM so you can slip right into mountain time. Before your departure at 11:00 AM, savor one last coffee on the deck or a stroll through the property. In the evenings, we honor quiet hours so every guest can rest easy beneath the North Georgia stars.

Begin your morning with an expertly crafted espresso, or return later for a glass of wine, a cocktail, or a light nibble. The Welcome Bar is always ready to greet you, day or night.
BREAKFAST AT WIT & WISDOM | 8 AM - 10 AM
Start your day in the dining room with a delicious breakfast (included with select room rates). It’s the perfect fuel for exploring Dahlonega or simply lingering a little longer on mountain time.
THE GIFT SHOP
Our boutique gift shop is thoughtfully curated with treasures that reflect both the spirit of the Lodge and the charm of Dahlonega. You’ll find locally crafted goods, cozy keepsakes, and hand-selected items that make perfect mementos of your stay. Whether you’re picking up a unique gift for someone back home or a little something for yourself, each piece carries the heart of the mountains with it.
FRESH BAKED MTL SIGNATURE COOKIES | Daily
The scent of warm cookies fills the lobby each afternoon, a comforting pause and a sweet indulgence between adventures. And if you love them as much as we do, you’ll find a tea towel with the recipe waiting in the Gift Shop — the perfect way to bring a little Lodge sweetness home.
WINE DOWN HOUR | 5 PM - 6 PM
Raise a glass with fellow guests during our nightly tradition, where wine, small bites, and mountain views make the perfect pairing. Each evening, we set out a complimentary charcuterie board and light nibbles — a thoughtful touch that makes this golden hour as delicious as it is memorable.
THE HONOR BAR | Always Available
Open around the clock, our Honor Bar makes it easy to grab a coffee, hot tea, snack, or chilled beverage whenever the mood strikes. Simply note your selections, and enjoy at your leisure.
SWEET DREAM CHOCOLATES | Evening
End your evening with a touch of sweetness — each night, a chocolate surprise with your name on it is placed in the mailbox just for you. Mailboxes are located in the lobby, so don’t forget to check before you tuck in for “sweet dreams.”

Light nibbles & sammies are always available, whether you’re mingling in the lobby, unwinding on the deck, or simply enjoying a quiet moment by the fire.

Start your morning with a comforting, chef-prepared breakfast served at your table in Wit & Wisdom. With a thoughtfully crafted set menu, there’s no need to decide — simply relax, sip your coffee, and enjoy a hearty start to the day before heading out to explore Dahlonega.
LUNCH ON THE GO
Heading out for a day of wine tasting or exploring the trails? Take the flavors of the Lodge with you. We prepare freshly made sandwiches and charcuterie boxes that are easy to pack and perfect for enjoying on the road, at a vineyard, or on a mountain picnic. Simply order ahead with our team, and we’ll have your lunch ready to grab before you set off on your adventure.
THURSDAY NIGHT BURGERS AT THE FOXY LADY & HER GARDEN | Thursday 3 PM - 8 PM
Thursday evenings bring a Lodge favorite — our signature burger night at The Foxy Lady & Her Garden. Enjoy the Mountain Top Lodge Signature Burger, a guest favorite crafted to perfection, or try the Chef’s Weekly Whim, a rotating creation that showcases fresh flavors and playful twists. Pair your burger with a glass of wine or a cold beer under the garden lights, and you’ve got the makings of a deliciously laid-back evening.
WIT & WISDOM EXPERIENCE | Friday and Saturday Evenings at 6:30 PM
Gather around the table for our signature five-course prix fixe dinner, served in an intimate, communal setting. With a curated menu that changes seasonally, each course is designed to delight, surprise, and celebrate the art of dining. | Reservations are required — please speak with our team to secure your place at the table.

The HILLSIDE LODGE | Steps away from the Main Lodge, the Hillside Lodge offers additional guest rooms with private balconies and fireplaces. It’s a peaceful retreat that still keeps you close to the heart of the property.
The WELCOME BAR | Where mornings begin with espresso and evenings end with cocktails or wine by the fire. Light nibbles and conversation make it the Lodge’s social hub.
WIT & WISDOM | Breakfast is served here each morning, while Friday and Saturday evenings transform the space into our five-course Supper Club. Intimate, communal, and elevated — it’s dining you’ll remember.
THE FOXY LADY & HER GARDEN | Playful and relaxed, this outdoor garden space shines with twinkle lights and easygoing charm. From Thursday Burger Nights to wine flights on a sunny afternoon, it’s the perfect spot to linger.
THE DEN | Reserved for private gatherings and special events, this open-air pavilion blends the beauty of the outdoors with the ease of celebrating together.
THE LIBRARY LOFT | A hidden gem above the Main Lodge, the Library Loft offers a cozy nook for reading, intimate gatherings, or a quiet retreat away from the bustle.
THE DECK | Step out from the Lobby onto the Deck, where the mountain air invites you to pause. It’s a favorite for morning coffee, afternoon cookies, or evening glasses of wine as the sky fades to starlight.
